What is an event? Definitions include “a thing that happens, especially one of importance” and “a planned public or social occasion.”  On average, GMAR offers 10 events per month which range from educational to social or networking. GMAR even has a full-time staff member who helps plan these events for our members.

But what really makes an event? A location? Food and beverages? A speaker? It really begins with an audience and for GMAR that audience is our members! The GMAR staff and committees work diligently to bring YOU quality events, so be sure to regularly check out GMAR’s online calendar of events.  For example, June has a great educational opportunity with “Agency-It’s More than the Disclosure” and you can register with just the click of your mouse.

GMAR also adds additional value by bringing events that benefit our membership and our communities! Show your friends, families and clients that being a REALTOR® is more than just helping buy or sell houses. Invite them to Summer in the Park on June 10th at Firefighters Park in Troy and join them for an afternoon of FREE fun including games, music, food and more. Again, registration just takes a second.

The YPN Committee works diligently throughout the year to plan and bring events like those above to our members and we are looking forward to a fantastic networking event in September which will feature some serious competition with a cornhole tournament.
