I would like to express my deepest gratitude to each one of you for your unwavering dedication to our profession. The REALTORS® of South-Central Kansas community continues to thrive because of your collective enthusiasm, knowledge, and passion. Our recent events, educational opportunities and community outreach programs have been met with great success. I encourage you all to actively participate and take advantage of these valuable opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Advocacy and Legislation:

Our association remains at the forefront of advocating for policies that support the best interests of our members and the real estate industry. We have been actively engaging with local and state legislators to address key issues such as affordable housing, property tax reform and regulatory measures impacting our profession. Your feedback and ideas are invaluable to us. We are committed to continuously improving and delivering the best possible experience for our members. In other news, Committee Applications are now open until August 31, 2023. We have twelve committees which do amazing work to improve and advance our Association. If you are interested in getting involved, check out the RSCK website for more information on each of our committees and for those applications.

As we look at the real estate industry, it is no secret that REALTORS® are facing questions about our worth and importance. Right now, it is vital that we share the benefit of using a REALTOR® and what we stand for. On our RSCK social media pages we are providing great resources for you to share with your clients and customers about the work we do and how that work is beneficial for them. On top of those resources, the National Association of REALTORS® has shared 179 Ways Agents Who Are REALTORS® Are Worth Every Penny of Their Compensation. I encourage you to look at this graphic and use this as inspiration for spreading the word about our importance.
