Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee Updates
Hello!
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee recently determined that developing a carefully crafted strategic roadmap would help ensure the committee’s focus and efforts align with RSCK and NAR missions and values. The committee applied for and was awarded a $5,000 grant from NAR to conduct a strategic planning process, which was started in August. The strategic planning process includes member surveys, focus groups, and strategic planning sessions.
While working on the strategic plan we wanted to create a blueprint to build stronger, more meaningful, relationships between members and those in the community that will, in return, benefit both RSCK and the communities we serve. This plan is more than a document. It is a path to continued growth, sustainability, and impact in an ever evolving community and market. We look forward to working further with RSCK leadership for feedback and guidance on the completed draft.
We want to thank each Realtor for providing perspective and guidance on how we more forward on our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) journey. Your perspective has been invaluable to the process and the DEI committee believes that we have designed a strategic way forward that allows us to meet people where they are, enhance the education process, and create opportunities for both personal and professional development.
I also want to give a special thank you and shout out to the members of the DEI Committee for your continued commitment and additional time spent creating our strategic plan draft.
