The Senior Real Estate Specialist Designation (SRES®) gives REALTORS® specialized knowledge that focuses on the needs of baby boomers over 50. In addition to educating REALTORS®, the SRES® Council serves baby boomers looking to buy or sell their home by providing valuable information resources and helps connect home buyers and sellers with qualified SRES® members.

The SRES® course seeks to instill knowledge and understanding of and empathy for 50+ real estate clients and customers. Develop the business building skills and resources needed for specialization in the 50+ real estate market. The SRES® designation program provides professional training and development suitable for continuing education credit.

Risk management and a strong administrative process must be a priority when considering how to incorporate technology and communication practices into daily operations for maximum effectiveness for the brokerage and public interaction. This course provides practical application techniques for identifying possible exposures and an opportunity to share best practices. By attending this program, the Supervising Brokers/Owners will have the tools to determine the level of risk management and administrative practices they need to address in their organization.

It is important to stay up-to-date with the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. It is a living, breathing document that changes each year, as the industry changes. You will gain a better understanding of how it applies to your business and the higher level of professionalism that you agree to abide by in not just being a real estate agent, but a REALTOR®.

Existing REALTOR® members, are required to complete a minimum of 2.5 hours of approved Code of Ethics training every three years as a refresher in order to remain a REALTOR® member. This has nothing to do with having a real estate license, but some courses do offer CE credit as a side benefit of taking the course.

Current Cycle is January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024
