In late July our committee hosted one of our favorite annual events, the Summer Social. We held the event at GAR this year, and everyone who attended had a great time! Clarissa grilled some amazing burgers, and one of the highlights was a dunk tank that a number of agents volunteered to not stay dry in. Thank you to all who made it a successful event!

Our next event is on the 29th of October, and we are bringing back a hit from last year, our SPOOKY STORIES event! You don't have to spend long in this industry to end up with some tales to tell, and if you have a great Real Estate story that somehow fills the "spooky" category, we would love to hear it. Last year we had a panel who told all of the stories, but this year we thought it would be fun to open it up to the entire membership in hopes of getting a huge variety of the craziest stuff you never imagined.. So if you have a good one, please register for the event at bit.ly/SpookyStories24 and let us know you want to tell a story! This event will be held at the GAR office on October 29th, from 4-6pm. The first 30 minutes will be socializing and then stories kick off at 4:30.

The last update I wanted to give is that three of us on the committee traveled to Chicago the week of August 26th for a couple of days for NAR's Leadership Week. We attended a great event focused on the growth and success of YPNs nationwide, called YPN Advance! This event brought together chairs, co-chairs, staff liaisons, etc., from all over the country to share what they do, how they do it, and to network and socialize. Kameryn Basye, Alli Pace, and I brought home some fresh ideas and perspectives from the event that we can’t wait to share with you all!
