The Professional Development Committee is off to a great start this year, planning excellent educational opportunities for all members.
Perhaps you’ve heard this Benjamin Franklin quote: “Change is the only constant in life. One’s ability to adapt to those changes will determine your success in life.” The last 30 days have brought about many changes in our industry. The Professional Development Committee has been busy providing the necessary education to help members adapt to all the changes.
One of the most critical things we must do in this new environment is to better articulate to consumers our value proposition as buyers’ agents. With that in mind, two upcoming opportunities exist to hone your skills in working with buyers. The first of these is the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) designation course on September 24 and 25 from 9-4:30. This two-day in person course will be taught by national instructor, Lee Barrett. The only cost is a registration fee unless you wish to receive 9 hours of CE credit as well. That additional fee is optional.
This course is the first step to earning the designation; an ABR elective course must be taken to complete the designation. Many of you may already have one of the electives. But if not, we are offering an ABR elective course, “Buyers by Generation: Success in Every Segment” on November 14 from 9-4:30. This one-day course is also eligible for 6 hours of CE. National instructor, Nate Johnson, will deliver the content. Don’t miss out on these amazing educational opportunities to enhance your learning this fall.
