Professional Development Committee

Professional Development Committee Chair
As we approach the end of another year and make plans for the coming year, it’s natural to take a moment to look in the rear-view mirror.
Without a doubt, 2024 presented us with many changes in the industry and challenges to overcome. The Professional Development Committee has been hard at work all year to provide RSCK members with the highest level of education to meet these challenges head-on.
There have been many highlights this year, in addition to the regular curricula of CE courses, mandatory Ethics classes, ELITE training for newer agents, and ALE certification for brokers and emerging leaders. Members participated in Lunch & Learn events where they heard about special financing and home buyer programs in our area, as well as pricing strategies and different CMA processes. A follow-up class on RPR was well received by all those in attendance. RSCK also co-hosted the KAR course – Real Estate: The New Horizon, and a huge hit was the two-day Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation course in September, attended by nearly 100 members.
As we wind down for the year, we encourage you to check out Forms, Forums, and Festivities: A Merry Lunch & Learn on December 6 where we will hear from a panel of five Brokers who will share best practices, insights and strategies as you plan for 2025 and the changing real estate landscape.
