It is important to stay up to date with the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. It is a living, breathing document that changes each year, as the industry changes. You will gain a better understanding of how it applies to your business and the higher level of professionalism that you agree to abide by and not just being a real estate agent, but a REALTOR®.
Existing REALTOR® members are required to complete a minimum of 2.5 hours of approved Code of Ethics training every three years as a refresher in order to remain a REALTOR® member. This has nothing to do with having a real estate license, but some courses do offer CE credit as a side benefit of taking the course. Current Cycle 7 is January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2024.
