Dear Grand County REALTORS®,

Earlier this summer, I had the honor—alongside our Chair-Elect Morgan Keeler—of representing Grand County REALTORS® at the 2025 NAR Legislative Meetings in Washington, D.C.

We joined nearly 10,000 REALTORS® from across the country to speak up for property rights, affordable housing, and the future of our profession. From meetings with lawmakers to discussions on critical tax and insurance policy, we carried your voices to the heart of national decision-making.

The NAR Advocacy Team has already reported big wins for small businesses and homeowners, and I encourage you to check out their recap podcast for insight into what’s next.

While Morgan and I were working on the national front, Colorado REALTORS® were also making strides. State lawmakers passed legislation to address construction liability and improve insurance transparency—positive steps for our clients and our industry.

Back at home, be sure to check out updates from the Division of Real Estate, new tools for transaction file compliance, and local wildfire readiness events, including a July 11th property insurance forum hosted by the Grand County Wildfire Council.
