Exciting Developments in Real Estate Education for 2025
The Education Committee has been working diligently to plan our 2025 course offerings this last month. We are thrilled to announce a variety of new courses and instructors for the upcoming year, designed to address many of our current issues in the industry, while expanding our knowledge so that we can enhance the value we provide to our clients. In 2025, we are looking to include topics that will not only explore the intricacies of the real estate industry in greater depth, but also help to equip you with the latest skills necessary to excel in our changing market.
Many of you have expressed the need for a flexible learning approach. To accommodate this, we are pleased to remind our members that if you cannot attend one of our free monthly courses for continuing education, GAR offers a CE shop online for its members. This platform allows you to access courses at your convenience, providing a self-paced learning option that fits your schedule. There is also a discount code you can use at the CE shop to make it more affordable.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for our upcoming courses on August 7th. We are offering two hybrid courses (in-person or on-line) with Course Instructor, Sandy McRae:
1. Boomers and Beyond: Working with an Aging Population (8 am – 12:00 pm)
2. Setting the Stage for Success: Business Planning and Taxes (1 pm – 4 pm)
These courses are designed to address real estate practice for reaching an aging population, as well as ensuring that you have the tools and knowledge to manage your personal business on the financial side.
We are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and look forward to your participation in these enriching educational experiences. If you have ideas of topics or issues that would be helpful for you, please let us know. Together, we can continue to advance our profession and provide exceptional value to our clients.
