CYCLE 8 NAR REQUIREMENT - in addition to Code of Ethics
9:00 to 12:00 - Fair Housing - Many Voices, ONE Message NEW Course
In this fast paced, highly interactive, mandatory training; we will take you on a journey across time to learn the history of Fair Housing and the laws that made housing discrimination illegal. Through real life scenarios, we will identify the personal characteristics that protect the public from housing discrimination and review the dangers of making assumptions based on protected classifications. We will discuss how to create inclusive environments that comply with today’s Fair Housing laws and rules.
Existing REALTOR® members are required to complete a minimum of 2.5 hours of approved Fair Housing training every three years in order to remain a REALTOR® member. This has nothing to do with having a real estate license, but some courses do offer CE credit as a side benefit of taking the course. Current Cycle 8 is January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
