The Government Affairs Committee has been busy at work already this year.  If you aren’t aware of the purpose of the Government Affairs Committee, here is a quick rundown:

We are dedicated to evaluating and providing feedback on proposed government actions that could impact the real estate industry. By staying informed and proactive, we ensure that our members are well-prepared to navigate any changes in legislation or regulation.  We mobilize REALTOR® members in advancing the legislative and regulatory initiatives of our local, state, and national associations. Our collective voice is powerful, and together, we can make a significant impact on the policies that shape our industry.   As the voice for real estate, we engage in candidate interviews and monitor legislation to ensure that the interests of our members are represented. Our committee works tirelessly to advocate for policies that promote a healthy and thriving real estate market.
